"National Sign Language Week" is dedicated to raising awareness about British Sign Language (BSL) and Irish Sign Language (ISL), typically celebrated in March each year, organized by the British Deaf Association (BDA) to commemorate the UK government's first recognition of BSL as a language in its own right on March 18, 2003; during this week, the focus is on promoting learning and preserving sign languages for future generations.
Sign Me Happy is joining the celebrations by running special ‘National Sign Language Week’ sessions all week long. Get in touch now to see how we can help your setting join in the fun and do your bit in raising awareness and championing equality!
